No, as long as the placement area is completely clear and accessible. When placing your order, provide specific instructions on where you’d like the dumpster (e.g., "left side of the driveway"). Make sure vehicles, equipment, or low-hanging branches won't block our truck on delivery or pickup days. 

We take great care during drop-off and pickup, but heavy containers can potentially scratch asphalt or sink into soft surfaces. To prevent damage, we recommend laying flat wooden boards (like plywood or 2x4s) on your driveway where you want the dumpster placed so the metal rollers rest on wood, not your property. 

Our delivery trucks need a clear path about 10–12 feet wide and 14–15 feet of overhead clearance (watch out for low tree branches, power lines, or building overhangs). We also need space in front of the placement spot to back the truck in and lower the bin. 

• On private property (your driveway or yard): No permit is required.

• On public property (street, sidewalk, or right-of-way): Most local municipalities require a street permit. Check with your local city or town hall before delivery, or ask us and we can help guide you through the local rules.

Each dumpster size includes a generous flat-rate weight allowance (2 tons and 3 tons). When we haul your dumpster away, it is weighed at the disposal facility. If your load stays under the included limit, you pay nothing extra. If it exceeds the limit, the additional weight is billed at a transparent per-ton rate.

Tip: Wet debris (like rained-on furniture, damp dirt, or soaked wood) adds significant weight. Cover your dumpster with a tarp during heavy rain to keep weight down!

All materials must be level with the top rim of the dumpster. Overfilling above the top edge creates a hazard for highway travel, and state laws require us to tarp every load securely before transport. We cannot haul containers filled past the top edge. 

We believe in transparent pricing. Your flat rental rate covers delivery, pickup, a set rental period, and a specified weight allowance. The only reason you’d see an additional charge is if you exceed the weight limit, keep the bin past your scheduled rental period, block the delivery/pickup truck (resulting in a trip fee), or throw away prohibited materials. 

• Finished early? Just give us a call or send a message, and we’ll schedule an earlier pickup.

• Need more time? No problem! Contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup date to extend your rental for a flat daily rate.

We recommend booking 2 to 3 days in advance to guarantee your preferred delivery date and dumpster size, especially during peak spring and summer renovation seasons. However, we often have same-day or next-day delivery options available for urgent projects!

These items cannot be placed in the dumpster under any circumstances:

• Hazardous & Chemical Wastes: Paints, stains, lacquers, paint thinners, solvents, and oil-based fluids. (Note: Empty, completely dried paint cans with lids off are permitted.)

• Automotive Fluids & Parts: Motor oil, transmission fluid, gasoline, diesel, antifreeze, wet auto batteries, and complete engine blocks.

• Batteries: Lithium-ion, lead-acid, or car batteries (household alkaline batteries are generally allowed).

• Propane Tanks & Gas Cylinders: Any pressurized tanks, gas cylinders, or helium tanks.

• Flammable or Explosive Materials: Fireworks, ammunition, flares, or fuel containers.

• Biohazardous & Medical Waste: Needles, syringes, medical waste, or animal carcasses.

• Freon / Refrigerant Appliances: Refrigerators, freezers, AC units, and dehumidifiers (unless Freon has been certified as drained/drained by a licensed technician).

• Tires: Auto or truck tires require specialized recycling.

• Heavy Inert Materials: Dirt, bricks, concrete, and gravel.

Rule of Thumb: If it’s liquid, toxic, pressurized, or illegal, it can't go in the bin! If you are ever unsure whether an item is allowed, give us a quick call before tossing it in.

Environmental regulations and local landfill rules restrict us from accepting hazardous chemicals, flammables, or materials that pose safety risks during transport. Disposing of restricted items can lead to landfill fines or additional sorting charges.
